The UW-Whitewater men's tennis team won its third consecutive match of the season by defeating Elmhurst College (Ill) 9-0 Saturday, March 8, in the Kachel Fieldhouse in Whitewater, Wis.

The Warhawks only dropped ten games in the nine matches, losing zero games at flight one and three doubles and flight two singles.
With wins in both singles and doubles junior Alex Mory (Madison/East) improves to 31-5 in his collegiate career. After winning in singles sophomore Kyle Halweg (Waunakee/Waunakee) is now 4-0 in his career in duel match contests.
This match marks the fourth time this season the Warhawks have won a match 9-0, UW-W shut out their opponents ten times in 2007.
The Warhawks improve to 8-4, the Blue Jays fall to 2-4.
The Warhawks travel to St. Peter, MN on March 15 to face NCAA DII opponent St. Cloud State and the top ranked team in Division III, Gustavus Adolphus. UW-W will play seven consecutive away matches, including five matches in Hilton Head, SC, before hosting another competition. On April 5, Ripon College and St. Francis will travel to Whitewater to face the Warhawks at 9:00 am and 3:30 pm, respectively.
