Whitewater Falls to Coe 6-3

The UW-Whitewater women's tennis team, competing in their first match of the spring season, was defeated by Coe College 6-3 in Cedar Rapids, IA, on March 1.  Coe is ranked 22nd in the nation and Whitewater is 28th.

With her win at #6 singles Freshman Amy Siemon (Crystal Lake, IL/Crystal Lake South) improved to 9-2 on the season.

The Warhawks, who fall to 11-3 on the season were WIAC regular season and tournament champions in the fall. 

The Warhawks continued competition Saturday evening against Luther College.
