Courtney Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Gunee)' win in the 1,000 yard freestyle provided the highlight of UW-Whitewater's 179-62 loss to UW-La Crosse Saturday afternoon in Mitchell Hall in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Jenkins recorded a team season best time of 11:28.06, almost thirty seconds faster than the previous best this season.  Jenkins added another team season best in the 100 butterfly (1:04.79).

The 400 freestyle relay also wrote a new team season best time in the books with a 4:23.20 clocking.  The quartet consisted of Danyelle Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Tremper), Jenny Ogle (West Bend/West), Casey Benser (Hartford/Hartford), and Hannah Peppey (Cambridge/Cambridge)

The next competition for the Warhawks will be the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champonship, February 21-23 at UW-Oshkosh.
