The UW-Whitewater women's gymnastics team upped its record against Division III competition to 6-1, and 5-1 against Wisconsin State University Conference competition with a 176.075-173.525 win at UW-Eau Claire Friday night.

UW-W won all four events and the all-around competition, with junior
Danielle Crinzi (New Berlin/Eisenhower) and freshman
Ginelle Galub (Machesney Park, IL/Harlem) accounting for two firsts apiece. Galub had the highest marks on the balance beam (9.15) and in floor exercise (9.175), and Crinzi took the honors in the vault (9.25) and all-around (36.00). UW-W junior
Ashley George (East Dubuque, IL/East Dubuque) placed first on the parallel bars (8.95).
Whitewater's vault team of
Angel Simonini (Antioch, IL/Antioch),
Amanda Smith (Rapid City, SD/Stevens),
Allison Nelson (Naperville, IL/Neuqua Valley),
Justine Weyer (Colgate/Germantown) and Crinzi combined for 45.45 points, twelfth best in the school record book.
UW-W will compete at Hamline University in Saint Paul, Minnesota Sunday afternoon.
