The UW-Whitewater women's bowling team, ranked fifteenth in the national poll, split a dual match with Elmhurst College Wednesday at the Connor University Center on campus. UW-W won the team score 1035-1017, and Elmhurst won the Baker match 1198-1136. Whitewater's team score (1035) is the best this season.

Senior Kim Ashby (Loves Park, IL/Harlem) led the Warhawks with a 237 game, tied for sixth best by UW-W player this season. Other Whitewater bowlers were sophomore Whitney Kueltzo (Homer Glen, IL/Lockport Township) 211, junior Lynn Smith (Dixon, IL/Dixon) 210, senior Katie Saffold (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) 199, and freshman Ashley Keclik (Hoffman Estates, IL/Fremd) 178.
Whitewater's top Baker game was 213. The same five bowlers, mentioned above, compiled that total.
UW-W will compete in the Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt University in Smyrna, Tennessee March 15-16.
