UW-Whitewater, ranked eleventh in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III poll, defeated Elmhurst College 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-13) and Lakeland College 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 25-18).

Sophia Sanchez led UW-W with 12 kills, with Keri Klotzbuecher (Clintonville/Clintonville) adding 11 in the win over Elmhurst.  Christina DeGroot (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) and Klotzbuecher had four aces apiece, and Alyssa Bauer (Naperville, IL/Central) contributed 13 digs.  Degroot had 27 assists.

Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) and Melissa Zuleger (Little Chute/Little Chute) had 14 and 11 kills, respectively, in the win over Lakeland.  Bauer, with 19 digs, led four Warhawks in double figures in that category.  Degroot had 39 assists.

UW-Whitewater is 28-7 overall.  The Warhawks will begin Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournament play Tuesday, November 4, hosting UW-Platteville at 7:00 in the volleyball arena in the Williams Center.
