On Sunday, October 26, Whitewater hosted the University of Chicago and defeated Chicago 2-0. This improves Whitewater's record to 9-5-2 and University of Chicago is now 5-7-3.

The first goal came in the first period by Cory Meyer (Prairie du Sac/Sauk Prairie) at 11:10 by a header off a deflection of the goalkeeper, assisted by Zach Rewasiewicz (South Milwaukee/South Milwaukee), making the score 1-0. It was Meyer's third goal of the season. The next goal came at the end of the second period, in the 87th minute. Luke Bucholz made the final goal off a goalie deflection, with an assist from Jake Duros (Lake Geneva/Williams Bay). It was Bucholz's ninth goal of the season.
The Warhawks more than tripled the University of Chicago's shot total. Chicago had a total of four, while Whitewater amassed 14. Leading the shots and shot on goal categories was Ryan Boyd (Waunakee/Waunakee) with four shots, three on goal.
The Warhawks' next game is on the road against Elmhurst College on Saturday November 2, at 1:30 p.m. After the game against Elmhurst, UW-Whitewater will close out the regular season at home against UW-Oshkosh under the lights at 7:00 PM on Friday, November 8.
