The thirteenth ranked Warhawks started out home tournament play with a 3-1 win over the Knights of Wartburg College.  Match scores were 25-12, 25-21, 23-25, 25-18.

Whitewater's Keri Klotzbuecher (Clintonville/Clintonville) led the team in kills having seventeen, with Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) adding eleven of her own.  Christina DeGroot (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) led with twenty three assists followed by Jillian Neave (Salem/Westosha Central) with eighteen.

The win increases UW-W's streak to nine and their overall record to 22-6.  Meanwhile, Wartburg drops their overall record to 7-22.

Whitewater continues play later this evening with a 7:00 matchup with Coe College.
