The thirteenth ranked Whitewater volleyball team stretches their win streak to ten with a win over Coe College 3-0. The win increases their standing in the Warhawk Invitational to 2-0. The 7:00 matchup ended in straight sets: 25-23, 25-18, 25-14.

The Warhawks had several players with multiple kills, leading the way was Stephanie Gardon (West Bend/West) with nine, Keri Klotzbuecher (Clintonville/Clintonville) with eight, Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London), Liz Benzschawel (Madison/Edgewood), and Kelly Sorenson each with seven. Tying for digs were Sorenson and Alyssa Bauer (Naperville, IL/Central) each having twelve. Superlatives in assists were attained by Christina DeGroot (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) with eighteen and Jillian Neave (Salem/Westosha Central) with sixteen.
Whitewater improves their record on the season to 23-6, while Coe College drops to 3-27.
The Warhawks will continue Saturday with tournament play, facing Illinois Wesleyan (16-13) at 11:00 a.m. and Carroll College (9-15) at 3:00 p.m.
