The Warhawks won both of their matches on Saturday October 18, 9-0 against UW-River Falls in River Falls an UW-Stout in Menomonie. Whitewater improved their record to 12-1, including 6-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. River Falls fell to 7-8 (1-5), and Stout to 3-7 (1-5).
Whitewater has won nine consecutive matches since its only loss of the season, a 5-4 decision at the hands of Division I UW-Milwaukee.
UW-W has completed its WIAC dual matches, all wins by 8-1 or 9-0 scores. The dual matches count one third of the league's formula for determining the WIAC champion. In addition, given the scores of UW-W's league duals, most, if not all, of UW-W's entries should be seeded first or second in all six singles and three doubles flights. The league tournament, next weekend, will represent two thirds of that formula. Whitewater will be defending its league title.
