Wednesday, October 15, the Warhawks sported pink and raised money for breast cancer awareness, while also defeating UW-Stevens Point in the Williams Center volleyball arena in a three game sweep, with line scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-19. The match extends UW-W's win streak to six and ups their record to 19-6 overall and 4-2 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and Stevens Point is now 12-17 overall and 1-5 in the WIAC. UW-W is ranked fourteenth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III poll.

UW-W's Christina DeGroot (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) led both teams with a high of two service aces, both teams had a total of three . Four people had a high of seven kills, 39 for Whitewater to 22 for UW-SP, while Whitewater's Alyssa Bauer (Naperville, IL/Central) and Steven's Point's Amanda Mix had 18 digs each. The Pointers' Pamela Nora had a total of five block assists helping her team have a total of fourteen block assists to the Warhawks eight. The Pointers also had a total of four blocks solo to zero for the Warhawks.
The next game for the Warhawks will be Friday, October 17 at UW-Superior with a 7:00 start time. The next home match for UW-W will be the UW-W Invitational III, October 24-25.
