UW-Whitewater traveled to UW-La Crosse on Wednesday, October 1 and lost 1-3 (25-16, 15-25, 16-25, 22-25) . The loss for the Warhawks ends a four game winning streak. The win for the Eagles improves UWL's record to 15-5 overall and 3-1 in the WIAC. Whitewater's record is now 13-6 overall and 2-2 in the WIAC and is also ranked 12th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.

Leading in kills was UWL's Brianne Stankus with 14 and right behind her, teammate Nina Walch had 13. Each team had three serving aces but
Christina DeGroot (Kewaskum/Kewaskum) of Whitewater had all three of theirs. The digs category was led by Whitewater's
Alyssa Bauer (Naperville, IL/Central) with a total of 26 of the team's 84.
Whitewater stood out in blocks assisted. Whitewater totaled twelve to La Crosse's two with
Caitlin Hogan (New London/New London) and
Liz Benzschawel (Madison/Edgewood) each blocking four.
