UW-Whitewater recorded eight season best performances Friday and Satruday at the Pointer Invite in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The Warhawks finished eighth in the field.

Team scores were: North Dakota 866.5, UW-La Crosse 804, UW-Stevens Point 577, Minnesota State 556.5, Minnesota-Moorhead 347, Gustavus Adolphus 338, UW-Eau Claire 205, and UW-Whitewater 175.
Casey Alf (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) posted UW-W's top finish, placing sixth in the 100 freestyle in 56.06. She also swam a team season best time of 54.99 in the prelims of the 100. Alf also set team season bests in the 200 freestyle (2:01.97) and 50 freestyle (25.50).
Other season best times included:
Shannon George (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) in the 200 individual medley (2:21.55),
Kristen Jahn (Wonderlake, IL/McHenry) in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.98), and
Danyelle Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Tremper) in the 200 backstroke (2:23.47).
Whitewater's 200 freestyle relay (
Hannah Peppey (Cambridge/Cambridge), Jenkins, George and Alf) swam a team best 1:44.92, and the 800 freestyle relay (Geroge, Peppey, Alf and
Kaylyn Howley (Sheboygan/Sheboygan South)) also put a new season best up (8:22.46).
UW-W will compete at UW-Eau Claire Saturday, January 26.
