The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks (6-5-1) were unmatched throughout the entire game on Saturday afternoon at Fiskum Field when they lost 4-0 against the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (8-0-1).

The game quickly started off with a goal by Hayelee Mueler and an assist by Amy Smith at the three minute mark for the Blugolds. Five minutes later, Smith scored the second goal with an assist by Elizabeth Koolstra. The first half came to an end with Smith scoring an unassisted goal leaving the Warhawks trailing 3-0.

During the second half the Warhawks battled to stay in the game but were only able to muster one shot by Mary Donohoo (Wauwatosa/West) (sophomore, Wauwatosa/West). Still, the Blugolds managed to score their final goal by Ashley McEachern at the sixty-two minute mark resulting in the Warhawks loss 4-0.

The Warhawks will travel to St. Norbert College on Sunday, September 30, to play another 1 pm game. Their next home game will be on Tuesday, October 2 as they host MSOE at 3:30 pm.
