Box Score vs. Beloit

UW-W, ranked third in the most recent American Volleyball Coaches Association top 25 poll, defeated Beloit College 3-0 (30-18, 30-14, 30-15) in their first match of the UW-Whitewater Invitational II on Friday, September 28.

Fifteen players saw action for the Warhawks against the Buccaneers.  Leading the way were seniors Rebekah Nelson (Delavan/Williams Bay) (Delavan/Williams Bay) and Carley Polk (Dousman/Mukwonago) (Dousman/Mukwonago) who would tally eight and seven kills respectively.

Defensively, Kristina Conlin (Williams Bay/Williams Bay) (sophomore, Williams Bay) dug up nine balls while Kate Lazotte (Stoughton/Stoughton) (senior, Stoughton) dug up seven to go along with her nineteen assists.  The Warhawks have won their last four matches and ten of their last eleven.

The Warhawks continue action on Friday at 7:00 against St. Ambrose. Admission to the game is free for students with a valid UW-W id.
