UW-Whitewater defeated Lakeland College 6-0 in Howards Grove, Wisconsin Sunday afternoon.

Becky Cera (Wauwatosa/Wauwatosa West) (so, Wauwatosa/West) opened the scoring at 9:35, with the first of two Sara Brown (Lake Zurich, IL/Lake Zurich) (fr, Lake Zurich, IL) following at 24:20.  Mary Donohoo (Wauwatosa/West) (sophomore, Wauwatosa/West) made it 3-0 with an assist from Cera at 31:56.  Holly U'ren (fr, Mount Horeb) scored at 43:57 to make it 4-0 at halftime.

Brown scored her second goal of the game, and third of the season, at 61:10 to make it 5-0.  Alyssa Spaude (Hartland/Arrowhead) (jr, Hartland) ended the scoring at 75:45.

Whitewater had 18 shots on goal, Lakeland 4.  UW-W goalie Amy Bailey (Whitefish Bay/Whitefish Bay) (fr, Whitefish Bay) made two saves to pick up the win. 

UW-W has a 5-2 record, with all five wins coming via shutout.  Bailey has been in goal in every game.  Whitewater, and Bailey, have allowed just four goals this season.

UW-Whitewater will play at UW-Oshkosh Wednesday, September 19 at 4:00.  The next home match for the Warhawks is Saturday, September 29 at 1:00, with UW-Eau Claire visiting Fiskum Field on the UW-W campus.
