The UW-Whitewater men's swimming and diving team defeated both Beloit College and Coe College Saturday afternoon at the Williams Center Pool.

UW-Whitewater defeated Beliot College by a score of 145.5 to 55.5 and Coe College by the score of 159 to 39. Beloit defeated Coe 82 to 79.
UW-W was paced by a plethora of first place finishers. Andy Hanney (Grafton/Grafton), AJ Fuller, Nate Glover (Milton/Milton), and Eric Nord (Hales Corner/Whitnall) finished first in the 200 yard Medley Relay. Matt Mintz (Hinsdale, IL/Central) finished first in the 1000 yard Freestyle and the 500 yard Freestyle. Mike Huffman (Palatine, IL/Palatine) took first in the 200 yard Freestlye and the 100 yard Freestlye.Glover also picked up a first place finish in the 50 yard Freestlye. Kyle Boers (Madison/East) picked up first place finishes in both the 1 and 3 meter Dives. Hanney also finished first in the 100 yard Backstroke. Fuller also got his second victory of the day in the 100 yard Breaststroke. UW-W rounded out the day with a victory in the 400 yard Freestyle Relay, with the team of Rudi Antos, John Sedgwick (Janesville/Milton), Nord, and Huffman.
UW-W is next in action on January 12 when Lawrence University comes to the Williams Center pool for a 1:00 meet.
