Berry hit seven of ten shots from the field, scoring his 15 points in just 16 minutes of playing time.  Senior forward Rob Perry (Milwaukee/Dominican) also scored 15 points, followed by sophomore center Dustin Mitchell (Lac de Flambeau/Lakeland) and junior forward Cory Brezovar (New Berlin/Eisenhower) with 14, junior guard Myles McKay (Milwaukee/Menomonee Falls) with 13, and junior guard Matt Goodwin (Milwaukee/Rufus King) with 10.  Berry's previous high scoring output was five points, twice, and Berzovar and Mitchell also notched season bests, topping the six points they both scored in a win over Cardinal Stritch.

The six players in double figures is also a season best for the Warhawks.  UW-W had four players reach double figures in wins over Cardinal Strtich and UW-Superior earlier this season.

The 100 points is the most scored by UW-W this season, and the most since the Warhawks scored 126 in a win over Grinnell College at the Bluejay Backer Classic in Elmhurst, Illinois December 16, 2006, a span of twenty-eight games since the Warhawks had hit the century mark.

Twelve of the thirteen Warhawks who saw action shot better than 50% from the floor, helping UW-W shot .646 for the game -- the fifth best shooting percentage in school history.  (The record is .727 versus UW-Milwaukee December 5, 1984.)

The victory pushed UW-W's all-time record versus Rockford to 6-0.

Neither team scored for almost three minutes to start the game, when Rockford's Ed Thomas hit a jumper at 17:16 to give the Regents a 2-0 lead, their only lead of the game.  Whitewater scored the next 22 points on the way to a 51-16 halftime lead.

Thomas, a freshman guard, led Rockford with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Junior center Deandre Steward added 10 points.

UW-W, 8-2, is ranked fifteenth in the D3hoops.com poll.  Rockford is 0-8.

Whitewater will host North Central College Wednesday, January 2 at 7:00 in Kachel Gym of Williams Center.
