Warhawks Drop Two in Oshkosh

The Warhawk women's swimming and diving team lost to both UW-Oshkosh, 59-53, and Luther College, 63-49, Saturday at a double dual swimming and diving meet hosted by Oshkosh.  The Warhawk women are 1-2 in dual meets this season.

Courtney Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Gunee) (freshman, Gurnee, Ill.) and Danyelle Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Tremper) (senior, Gurnee, Ill.) won the 100 yard butterfly and the 100 yard backstroke respectively to pace the Warhawks.  Whitewater would also get two second place finishes from Casey Alf (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) (senior, Fort Atkinson).  The Warhawks would record nine season best times in total.

The Warhawks will next compete on November 9 and 10 when they travel to Chicago, Illinois to participate in the University of Chicago Invite beginning at 6:00 pm.  Their next home meet will be November 30 when they face the Marquette Swim Club at 6:00 pm in the Williams Center Pool.
