Warhawks Split in Oshkosh

The Warhawks defeated host UW-Oshkosh 72-41, but lost to Luther College 78-35, at a double dual swimming and diving meet in Oshkosh on Saturday.  The Warhawk men are now 2-1 in dual meets this season.
 

Matt Mintz (Hinsdale, IL/Central) (freshman, Hinsdale, Ill.) posted the best times in the 500 and 1650 yard freestyle for all three teams at the meet.  The relay team of Nate Glover (Milton/Milton) (freshman, Milton), Eric Nord (Hales Corner/Whitnall) (sophomore, Hales Corners), Alex Kultgen (Port Washington/Port Washington) (junior, Port Washington), and Mintz also posted a meet best in the 200 yard freestyle relay.  The Warhawks would record eight season best times in total.

The Warhawks will next compete on November 9 and 10 when they travel to Chicago, Illinois to participate in the University of Chicago Invite beginning at 6:00 pm.  Their next home meet will be November 30 when they face the Marquette Swim Club at 6:00 pm in the Williams Center Pool.
