The Sake Bottle Trophy originated with a trip that current Parkside coach Jim Koch and former Warhawk coach Willie Myers made with a collegiate all-star team to Japan and Korea.  They brought the bottle back with them and had it made in to a trophy.  Parkside leads the all-time series for the trophy 16-4.

Austin Bautista (Des Plaines, IL/Maine East) recorded his sixth win without a loss for the Warhawks.

UW-Parkside is ranked ninth in the national poll of National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II teams.

UW-Whitewater will compete in the Wisconsin Open, hosted by UW-Parkside, Saturday.  The next home meet for the Warhawks will be December 12, with UW-La Crosse visiting Williams Center.
