UW-Whitewater remained undefeated in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 7-2 win at UW-Eau Claire Friday evening.
UW-W's Lauren Fahl (Brookfield/Brookfield Central) (fr, Brookfield/Central) raised her record to 9-1, tops on the team, with a win at number four singles. Fahl was joined by Jessie Farrar (sr, Rock Island, IL) to win at two doubles, keeping their mark perfect at 4-0. Ingrid Stensvaag (Palatine, IL/Palatine) (so, Palatine, IL), with wins at one singles and one doubles, and Amy Siemon (Crystal Lake, IL/Crystal Lake South) (Crystal Lake, IL/South), six singles and three doubles, also contributed to two points each for the Warhawks.
UW-Whitewater is 6-2 overall in dual meets. The Warhawks will play two matches in La Crosse Saturday, facing host UW-La Crosse Saturday morning and Lawrence University in the afternoon. The next home date for the UW-W will be Wednesday, October 10 with the Warhawks hosting UW-Oshkosh at 3:30 and Concordia University (WI) at 6:30 on the Wangerin Courts south of Williams Center on campus.
