UW-Whitewater finished on top of the eight-team field at the SNC Sprint Meet hosted by Lawrence University in DePere, Wisconsin Saturday.

Casey Alf (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) played a role in four firsts for UW-W, piling up points.  Alf won the 100 freestyle (56.70), the 50 freestyle (26.09), and participated on Whitewater's winning 100 freestyle relay (49.22) and 500 freestyle relay (1:07.82).  The 500 was a unique event involving eight swimmers for each team.

Shannon George (Fort Atkinson/Fort Atkinson) added first place points in the 100 individual medley (1:05.44), and the 100 medley relay of George, Danyelle Jenkins (Gurnee, IL/Tremper), Kristen Jahn (Wonderlake, IL/McHenry), and Hannah Peppey (Cambridge/Cambridge) also touched first (55.45).

After the opening weekend, a dual with Carroll and the Sprint Meet, UW-W is undefeated.

Whitewater will be at UW-Oshkosh Saturday, November 3 at 1:00 in the Williams Center pool.
