UW-Whitewater fell to Concordia-Morehead 1-0 Monday afternoon at Fiskum Field in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
The teams played a scoreless tie through two-thirds of the contest, when Susan Obermiller (fr, Fargo, ND) , converted a centering pass from Maia Johnson (jr, Northfield, MN) in to the game's only tally.
Concordia goalie Britt Reiersgord (jr, Edina, MN) only had to make one save. Her counterpart, UW-W's Amy Bailey (Whitefish Bay/Whitefish Bay) had nine saves and the only goal allowed in the game. Her record falls to seven losses on the season.
Concordia led the Warhawks with eighteen shots compared with the three shots that Whitewater took.
The Warhawks are now 11-7-1 overall and remain 5-2-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
UW-Whitewater will participate in the first round of the WIAC Tournament which starts Tuesday, October 30 at a location yet to be disclosed.
