Patzka broke an 11-year-old program record and topped a field of 121 runners in the 5,000-meter run Friday to help the Warhawks finish second at the UW-Platteville Invitational. His time of 14:15.21 topped former record holder Brian Butzler by more than eight seconds and currently leads the WIAC and ranks ninth in NCAA Division III.
