Rongstad was named Most Outstanding Player and selected to the All-Tournament Team after leading the No. 11 Warhawks to the championship at the Nicolet National Bank Holiday Tournament at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis., over the weekend. He averaged 17.0 points per contest n 11-of-18 shooting (57.9 percent) and added 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game. On Friday, Rongstad tallied 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal in UW-Whitewater's 90-60 win over Finlandia (Mich.). In Saturday's title game, he shot 7-of-10 from the floor and 4-of-6 from 3-point range en route to a 21-point, four-rebound, two-steal effort in the Warhawks' 89-78 triumph at St. Norbert, which is receiving votes in the most recent D3hoops.com Top 25. Rongstad's 21 points are his season high.
