Smith averaged 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.8 steals per game in four games between Dec. 18-31 to help the 11th-ranked Warhawks post a 3-1 record over that span. She also shot 11-of-14 (78.6 percent) from the free-throw line. She hit four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 16 points to go along with eight rebounds and four steals in UW-Whitewater's 68-47 triumph over Eastern Connecticut State on the team's first day at the Cruzin' Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Smith collected 12 points, two assists and three steals in the Warhawks' 68-60 victory over No. 17 Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) on Dec. 29 at the Wartburg Holiday Tournament in Waverly, Iowa. Her performance during the two-week span helped UW-Whitewater enter WIAC play this week with a 10-1 record.
