Mertins led the No. 18 Warhawks in traditional games with a score of 1,114, good for a 222.80 average and an 11th-place finish out of 200 bowlers, over the weekend at the Columbia 300 Music City Classic in Smyrna, Tenn. She rolled team-high games of 259 and 242 for the day to help UW-W move up four spots on the second day at the tournament. For the weekend, she led UW-Whitewater with a 90 percent fill percentage and a 55 percent strike percentage, and converted 30-of-32 on single pin opportunities.
