Theobald has been a part of six Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship relays during her time with the UW-Whitewater women's swimming and diving program, including the 200-yard freestyle relay and 400-yard freestyle relay in 2020. She was also an All-WIAC honoree as the runner-up in the 800-yard freestyle relay in 2020 and both the 800 free relay and 200-yard freestyle as a freshman in 2018. Theobald has finished among the top eight in the conference 21 times in both individual and relay freestyle events. Last season, she was a two-time WIAC Kwik Trip Athlete of the Week. Theobald is a part of the program's 400-yard freestyle relay record performance (3:32.93) and holds all-time team top 10 marks in four freestyle events. She is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and is a double-major in communication sciences and disorders and Spanish.
