Elizabeth Niestrom, Junior, Setter

Niestrom totaled 86 assists, good for 10.75 per set, and added eight blocks (1.00 per set) in two matches last week to help the No. 9 Warhawks to a pair of non-conference wins. In a three-set victory over Carthage at home on Tuesday, she posted 33 assists, five digs and four blocks. Two days later, in a 3-2 triumph at Augustana (Ill.), Niestrom collected 53 assists, her second-highest output of the season, and added two kills, nine digs and four blocks. For the season, she leads the conference with 10.90 assists per set.
