Women’s Tennis – Singles

Alexandra Talyansky, Senior

Talyansky won the No. 1 singles draw Friday and Saturday at the Warhawk Fall Invitational. Playing against players from Division I and NAIA scholarship schools, Talyansky, the bracket’s second seed, mowed her way through the bracket, posting straight-set victories over UW-Green Bay, Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) and St. Francis (Ill.) en route to the title. Earlier in the week, she recorded a 6-3, 6-4 triumph over Bailey Sagen of UW-Oshkosh to help the Warhawks clinch their 85th consecutive win over a WIAC opponent. Talyansky is now 13-3 for the season in singles play.
