Bridgid McGuire (Slinger/Slinger), Senior, and Jillian Wallace (Crystal Lake, IL/Central), Senior
McGuire and Wallace finished with a 5-0 record to win the double draw and claim All-America honors over the weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Midwest Regional Championships at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn. The duo, which also clinched a spot in next month's ITA Oracle Cup with the tournament win, bested the top-seeded team of Haley Resnick and Lauren French in the semifinal before coming back from 0-6, 2-5 down to defeat No. 3 Bridget Bellissimo and Sadie Spahn of UW-La Crosse 0-6, 7-6 (4), 1-0 (10-5). McGuire is now a four-time doubles All-American in her career, and Wallace earned her second All-America accolade in doubles.
