Ards set the school record for points in one game with 49 points on 21-of-38 shooting from the floor Saturday against UW-Stout. He broke the previous record of 47 (Melvin Brown Jr. (Milwaukee, Wis./Vincent), 2019) on a jumper with 26 seconds remaining that put the Warhawks ahead by one. Ards scored 28 of his points in the first half alone and added nine rebounds in the performance. On Wednesday, he registered 25 points on 11-of-21 shooting and added five rebounds, three assists and three steals at defending national champion UW-Oshkosh. For the Week, Ards averaged 37.0 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting and 40.0 percent from 3-point range, and added 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest.
