Kuczynski hit .500 (14-of-28) with three doubles, two homers and eight runs batted in during six games last week to help the No. 4/8 Warhawks post a 6-0 record and clinch the WIAC regular season championship. He registered three consecutive three-hit games to start the week, concluding the run with a 3-for-5 performance that included two doubles, one home run, two runs scored and four RBI in a 23-6 victory at UW-Oshkosh in the third contest of the four-game series on Satudray. In the team's first game Sunday at St. Norbert, he tallied two hits, including a home run, and knocked in three during UW-Whitewater's 14-9 triumph. Kuczynski, who enters next week's WIAC Championship tournament on an eight-game hitting streak, also collected a team-best 19 fielding assists last week.
