Men	Women	Who We Are Competition is a daily part of life for student-athletes. They face it in the weight room, during competition, and in the classroom. Similarly, Warhawk Athletics also finds itself in a constant challenge to develop the necessary financial resources that make it possible to compete at the highest level of competition. It is this reality of modern intercollegiate athletics that makes the individual sport booster clubs, National W-Club, and the work we do, so important. Your gift to an individual sport booster club, no matter the amount, makes a difference. Private support is necessary and an ever-increasing reality in college athletics. A broad base of donors- season ticket holders, alumni, letterwinners, and fans- is critical to helping the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Athletics Department meet its commitments to our student-athletes. Purpose The purpose of the individual sport boosters is to provide opportunities for our 700 student-athletes by seeking philanthropic support from individuals, families, and corporations. When you support Our Teams, you ensure the ongoing success and continued tradition of excellence for Warhawk Athletics. Your support is crucial in offering a world-class academic and athletic environment for our student-athletes. How Your Gift Helps Gifts to the individual sport boosters or National W-Club help support our student-athletes in the classroom as well as on the playing field. This increases the overall strength of our athletics department and assists all of our 20 intercollegiate programs. A gift to the Warhawk Athletics is an investment in our bright, hard working and deserving student-athletes. A gift made by you is an investment in both their personal success and the success of Warhawk Sports. By making a gift and supporting the National W-Club or individual booster clubs, you: Receive tax-deductible donation credit. Provide program support to approximately 700 student-athletes. Offer a world-class academic and athletic experience for our student-athletes. Promote an environment that will produce tomorrow’s leaders. Assist our student-athletes in graduating at a rate higher than the general student body by providing academic resources.
