Warhawk Swimming and Diving Through the Years

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men’s swimming and diving program has seen great success throughout history. Without support from fans, the team would not have been able to compete to the level we all have come to expect. The team needs fans help to continue the path towards its first WIAC championship title and continuing their success as contenders in the nation. The Warhawks have 22 All-American honorees with John Borta having the highest finish in school history with a second place finish in the 200-yard freestyle.

Since its start in 1976 the Warhawk women's swimming and diving program has seen consistent progress toward a WIAC championship as well as several individual WIAC champions. Without support from fans, the team would not be able to compete as well as it has in the past, present and future. The squad looks for fans help to continue its path to championships and remain a top collegiate team. The Warhawks' first NCAA champion was crowned in 2013, when Amy Spaay dominated the field in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. Spaay is the first national champion in swimming and diving at UW-Whitewater.
