Newport News, Va. - The No. 2 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team opened the 2025 campaign with a sweep of No. 21 Christopher Newport University 25-22, 25-23, 25-12. The Warhawks will wrap up the Captain Classic with a pair of matches Saturday against US Coast Guard Academy and Catholic University.

Seven Warhawks tallied kills in set two with Dix once again pacing the squad with four.
The offense surged in the final set of the evening. UW-Whitewater hit .524 with 12 kills in 21 attempts while committing just a single attack error. Sophomore
