Women's Golf

Golfers Recognized for Academic Success by WGCA

Seven Warhawk golfers have been recognized for their success in the classroom over the last year by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. 

UW-Whitewater honorees receiving recognition on the WGCA All-American Scholar Team include Ellie Johnson (Johnsburg, Ill./Johnsburg), Kallie Lux (Janesville, Wis./Craig), Payton Schmidt (Jefferson, Wis./Jefferson), Abbie Reiser (Washington, Ill./Washington Community), Kellie Shanahan (Wauconda, Ill./Mundelein), Norah Berken (Kaukauna, Wis./Kaukauna) and Megan Honn (LaFayette, Ind./Jefferson)

The WGCA recognized 1,499 golfers from 403 institutions in 2024-25. To be eligible, student-athletes must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and they must have played in at least 50-percent of the institution's regularly scheduled competitive rounds over the season.
