The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's & women's tennis team began their spring break trip with a dual against Chapman University. Both matches ended in a 4-3 decision, as the Warhawk men won over the 32nd women Chapman men, but the women's team fell 3-4 to the 39th-ranked Chapman women.

The women's team had three close doubles matches, but the Panthers took the second and third doubles flight to score the team point. In the singles matches, The Warhawks won the first three, but Chapman took flights four thru six to take the match.

Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) won her individual match at No. 1 singles. Ha won the first set 6-3, but dropped the second set 4-6 to even the match against Chapman's number one. Ha started with a 3-1 lead in the third set, but was unable to get the break point with Chapman closing it 4-3. Ha bounced back & won the final two games to take her match.

On the men's side, the Warhawks scored the doubles point wining the first & second flight. However, Chapman bounced back and took three singles flights to reach the match point. 

Drew Van Fossen (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) & Charles Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) were both still in their singles matches to try & fend off the Panthers winning the match. Van Fossen had dropped his first set in a tiebreaker, but bounced back taking his match with a 6-2, 6-4 second and third set.

Charles Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) won his first set 6-3, but was blanked in the second. Morgan kept calm & didn't allow the momentum to flip, winning the first four games of the third set. The freshman secured the match for the Warhawks with a 6-1 third set.
