The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Men's Tennis, ranked 17th in the latest ITA national poll, defeated North Central College, ranked 37th, 5-2.

The Warhawks opened the match with a doubles sweep, picking up the double point for the match.

Tyler Nelson (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) and Payton Adkisson (Lincolnshire, Ill./Stevenson) were the first to finish at the second doubles flight, the pair took 24 minutes, picking up their flight 6-3. Reuben Giorgio (Perth, Western Australia/Applecross) and Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) were right behind them at number-one singles, winning 6-1 in 25-minutes.

Drew Van Fossen (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) and Giovanni Vitali (Galgagnano, Italy/San Francesco) picked up the third doubles match in a match tiebreaker. The pair fended off multiple pushes from the Cardinal pair to win the tiebreak 7-4.

On the singles side, the Warhawks picked up 4 of 6 flights. The Warhawks picked up straight-set wins at flights two thru five. 

Charles Morgan (Naperville, Ill./Central) took his match at No. 5 singles. In his first set, the freshman had to battle back after losing the first two games of the set. Morgan tied the set up at 4-4 before avoiding the break back and taking the set 6-4. Morgan carried the momentum forward, winning the second set 6-3 to take the match.
