Seven Warhawks represent the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater on the 2024 Academic All-District Team for football announced by College Sports Communicators.
The seven Warhawks that earned CSC Academic All-District honors for 2024 include
Matt Burba (Lake in the Hills, Ill./Huntley),
Noah Moris (Union Grove, Wis./Union Grove),
Ethan Gallagher (Homer Glen, Ill./Lockport Township),
Karsten Libby (Wheaton, Ill./North),
Tyler Vasey (Crystal Lake, Ill/Prairie Ridge),
Nick Wind (Downers Grove, Ill./Montini Catholic) and
Blake Haggerty (Castle Rock, Colo./Castle View). Burba and Gallagher earned the honor for the second consecutive season. Moris, Libby, Vasey, Wind and Haggerty are first-time honorees.
Eligible student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.50 and be of at least sophomore status academically and athletically. On the gridiron, players must have competed in 90-percent or started in at least 66-percent of the team's games this season.
