The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's tennis team continued their second day at the Intercollegiate Coaches Association Midwest Regional Tennis Invite hosted by Gustacus Adolphus College on Saturday.

The singles draw is down to the Quarterfinals, as Tyler Nelson (Waunakee, Wis./Waunakee) will be representing the Warhawks in the Top 8 left. Nelson won his first match of the day 6-0, 7-5 before battling it out with the fifth-seeded Wilder Cooke from Grinnell. Nelson dropped the first set 4-6, but bounced back to force a third-set tiebreaker with a 6-3 second set. Nelson secured his spot in the quarterfinals with a 10-8 victory.

Nelson will face fourth-seeded Gage Gohl from Gustavus in his quarterfinal match.

On the doubles side, two Warhawk pairs advanced to the Quarterfinals of the ITA Doubles. 

The Warhawk pair of Giovanni Vitali (Galgagnano, Italy/San Francesco)/Drew Van Fossen (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) defeated Saavedra/Ferjani from MSOE, 8-4 to advance into the quarterfinals, but fell to Mhwandagara/Knutson (GAC) 8-6 in a close match.

The Warhawk pair of Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) & Reuben Giorgio (Perth, Western Australia/Applecross) advanced to the ITA Doubles Semifinal, defeating Westholder/Benvenutti 8-3 in the quarterfinal match. The pair will match-up against the top seeded Gohl/Haddorff (GAC) on Sunday. 

In the Consolation bracket, Andrew Dumbauld (Maple Grove, Minn./Maple Grove) represented the Warhawks in Draw 1, with Daniel Moeller in Draw 2. Both reached the championship match of their respective draw, with moeller coming away with the crown in Draw 2
