The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's and women's tennis teams took on the top-ranked UChicago teams in a double-header dual. The women (ranked No. 48) lost 8-1 to the No.5 UChicago Women. The No. 14 men lost X-X to the 2nd-ranked UChicago team.

Cassandra Lee picked up the Warhawks lone win against UChicago. Lee dropped the first set 6-3, but bounced back in the second set, winning a close match in the set tiebreak. Lee carried the momentum forward, winning the third set match tiebreaker, 10-3.

The men also had some close matches against the top-ranked Maroons team, with multiple tiebreak sets and third set match tiebreakers.

Drew Van Fossen (Germantown, Wis./Germantown) went into a third set tiebreaker against his opponent at the No. 5 singles flights. Van Fossen won the first set 7-5, but UChi took the second set 7-5. The UChi #5 singles player carried the momentum forwardm taking the match 10-7 in the tiebreaker.
