The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team split a pair of matches against Division I UW-Milwaukee and NAIA Roosevelt on Saturday, March 2nd. The Warhawks lost to UW-Milwaukee 6-1, before defeating Roosevelt 6-1.

Against Milwaukee, Cassandra Lee picked up the lone point for the Warhawks bouncing back after losing the firs tset 6-4. Lee earned the second set after a tight battle went into the tiebreak. Lee won the set tiebreak 7-2, before using the momentum to pick up the third set tiebreak 10-4 at #1 singles. After her 1-hour 49-minute match against Milwaukee, Lee followed it up with an even longer 1-hour and 57-minute match against Roosevelt at the #1-singles flight. Lee played a solid match, after narrowly falling in the first set 9-7 in the tiebreak, she picked up the second set 6-2. Lee and Teodora Petrica (Roosevelt) headed into the third set match tiebreak, with Petrica taking the win 10-7. 

The Warhawks took the doubles point with Lee and Gracie Ha (Palatine, Ill./Fremd) picking up a quick 6-1 victory at #1 doubles and Mackenzie Lindow and Alex Repplier (Champlin,MN/Champlin Park) securing the point only minutes later with a 6-2 victory at #3 doubles.

Against Roosevelt, the Warhawks took single flights 2 thru 6, earning their 7th win of the season.
