Will Pytleski named to the All-Sportsmanship Team

The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater men's basketball garnered four individual awards in the 2024 WIAC All-Conference Teams. Trevon Chislom (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) and Miles Barnstable (Sheboygan, Wis./Howards Grove) were named to the All-Conference First Team and Delvin Barnstable (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan Lutheran) was an All-Conference Honorable Mention. Will Pytleski (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest) was named to the WIAC All-Conference Sportsmanship team for the second team in his career.

Trevon Chislom (McFarland, Wis./McFarland) earned his second All-Conference First Team Selection after scoring 15.9 points per game in the 2024 season. Chislom was one of the most efficient scorers in the WIAC, with a 53/47/75 shooting clip. In the WIAC, Chislom ranked 6th in field goal percentage, 2nd in three-point percentage, and 11th in free throw percentage, one of two players to reach the top 11 in all three categories. During the 2024 season, Chislom secured his name in the record books, finishing his career with 1445 career points, ranking 7th all-time in Warhawk History, and recording 91 blocks, 2nd all-time.

Miles Barnstable (Sheboygan, Wis./Howards Grove) took his second consecutive All-WIAC First Team award after averaging a team-high 16.4 points per game. Barnstable started the season with 19 double digit scoring games in only 20 games. During that stretch, Miles scored a career high 35 points as he led the Warhawks in a comeback win over Hope College on the road. Barnstable boasted a 46/36/89 shooting clip throughout the season. Not only excelling on offense, Barnstable also helped anchor the Warhawk defense, recording a team-high 31 blocks throughout his 25 games.

Delvin Barnstable (Sheboygan, Wis./Sheboygan Lutheran) was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention for 2024. Barnstable was a key component of the Warhawk defense, often tasked with guarding opponent's top players. Despite the load on defense, Barnstable averaged 9.8 points per game and 4.9 rebounds. Barnstable also hit the career 1,000 point mark against UW-Stout earlier this season.

Will Pytleski (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest) also earned honors, picking up his second All-Sportsmanship team nod. Pytleski won the award in the 2020-21 season. Will has received numerous team awards during his Warhawk Career and has served as a team selected captain in four out of his five years on the Warhawks.

The Warhawks finished the conference season with a 7-7 record, going 17-8 in the regular season. The Warhawks' 2023-24 campaign came to an end in the first round of the WIAC playoffs.
