Theo Billson (Lindfield, England/BHASVIC) & Reuben Giorgio (Perth, Western Australia/Applecross) advanced into the quarterfinal rounds of the ITA Cup after defeating the doubles pair from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in Rome, Georgia.

In the opening round, the Warhawk pair won their first set in a close set tiebreaker. The Warhawks were down 4-6 in the tiebreaker, before winning four straight points to clinch the first set.

The pair from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Caleb Settles/Brandon Vu, took the second set 2-6, forcing a third set match tiebreaker. 

The Warhawks jumped out to a 7-1 point lead in the tiebreaker, but CMS gained some momentum back after three straight rallies at 7-4. The two pairs went back & forth, but the Warhawks remained on top, taking the match tiebreaker 10-7. 

Billson/Giorgio will face-off against the third-seeded Emil Grantcharov/Derek Hsieh from UChicago. The match will take place at 3 PM ET.
