The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team, ranked seventh in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, swept Augustana College 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 29-27) in a non-conference matchup in Russell Arena Friday night.
The Warhawks outhit the Vikings registering double digit kills while holding Augustana to single digits each set. UWW was most efficient in the opening set with a .250 attack percentage. The Vikings hit just .050 in the first set and .026 for the match.
Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led UW-Whitewater at the net offensively. The middle hitter pounded down 13 kills with an attack percentage of .440. She added four block assists and nine digs in the contest.Opposite of Anderson,
