The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater volleyball team, ranked seventh in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association poll, swept Augustana College 3-0 (25-18, 25-14, 29-27) in a non-conference matchup in Russell Arena Friday night. 

The Warhawks outhit the Vikings registering double digit kills while holding Augustana to single digits each set. UWW was most efficient in the opening set with a .250 attack percentage. The Vikings hit just .050 in the first set and .026 for the match. 

Kirsten Anderson (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led UW-Whitewater at the net offensively. The middle hitter pounded down 13 kills with an attack percentage of .440. She added four block assists and nine digs in the contest.Opposite of Anderson, Abbie Dix (Brodhead, Wis./Brodhead) posted an attack percentage of .533 for the match with 10 kills and just 2 errors in 15 attempts. She added a career-high six assist blocks in the outing. Outside hitter Jenna Weinfurt (Waukesha, Wis./Catholic Memorial) hammered down 13 kills adding 11 digs for the double-double. Fellow outside Ally Warburton (St. Charles, Ill./North) added 10 kills. 

Aubrie Krzus (Wheaton, Ill./Warrenville South) captained the offense with 40 assists adding four assist blocks and 10 digs. In the backcourt, libero Morgan Jensen (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) led the specialists with 15 digs. Rylee Duessler (Sussex, Wis./Sussex Hamilton) joined Jensen in double figures with 11.
