Tamir Thomas (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls), Junior, Running BackÂ
Thomas led No. 4 UW-Whitewater to a 17-14 win over No. 19 Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday. The lengthy weather delay didn't hamper the powerful back as he found his way into the endzone twice at Crusader Stadium. Thomas got UWW on the board punching it in from two-yards out on the team's opening drive for the early lead. Midway through the second quarter, he found the endzone a second time on a four-yard scamper to give UWW a 14-7 advantage. For the game, Thomas posted 111 yards on 23 carries with the pair of rushing touchdowns.
