Verges, Isaac

Men's Basketball


Isaac Verges — Senior — Guard — Franklin, Wis./Franklin

In a tie game against Hope College on Friday, December 19th, Isaac Verges made the half-court buzzer beater to win the game for the Warhawks against the Flying Dutchmen. Verges stole the inbound pass before heaving the shot from half court to score the decisive basket. The senior finished with a double-double, scoring 19 points & collecting 10 rebounds against Hope. He capped the Michigan trip with 9 points in 13 minutes in UWW's win over Alma.

Krohn, Caden

Women’s Basketball 

Caden Krohn - Sophomore - Forward - Waukesha, Wis./Waukesha West

Caden Krohn led UW-Whitewater to a pair of wins in Texas last week, including a 35-point victory over No. 14 East Texas Baptist. She opened the trip with a career high 20 points on 9-11 from the floor and a perfect 2-2 from beyond the arc in UWW's win over Mary Hardin-Baylor. In the top 15 battle against ETBU, Krohn had nine points, two steals and a blocked shot. For the week, Krohn shot 65% from the floor (13-20), 67% from three-point range (2-3) and added three steals and three blocks.
