The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team overcame a lengthy weather delay and a change of venue to defeat UW-La Crosse 9-0 Friday evening. 

The match that was initially scheduled for an afternoon 3 pm start in La Crosse did not get underway until nearly 6 pm in Winona. Still the Warhawks came away with a sweep.
